Health, Safety & Liability Waiver

By booking and attending a class with Mindful Puppy Yoga Ltd ("Mindful Puppy Yoga", "we", "our", or "us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.

1. Participation

Participation in our puppy yoga sessions is entirely voluntary.

You confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or attending with the consent of a parent or legal guardian if permitted.

  • You are physically able to participate in a gentle yoga class.

  • You have informed the instructor of any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or other circumstance that may affect your participation.

  • You will participate only within your own physical limits.

If you feel unwell before or during the session, you should stop participating immediately and inform a member of staff.

2. Assumption of Risk

You understand that:

  • Yoga involves physical movement and carries an inherent risk of injury.

  • Puppies are live animals and may behave unpredictably despite careful supervision.

  • There is a small risk of scratches, minor bites, accidental contact, falls, allergic reactions, or damage to clothing or personal belongings.

By attending, you voluntarily accept these ordinary risks.

3. Puppy Welfare

The welfare of our puppies is our highest priority.

You agree to:

  • Follow all instructions from instructors and puppy handlers.

  • Handle puppies gently and respectfully.

  • Never chase, restrain, tease, frighten, or disturb a puppy.

  • Not pick up a puppy unless invited to do so by a handler.

  • Not feed puppies or give them treats.

  • Respect any decision by staff or the breeder to remove a puppy from the session.

Anyone whose behaviour may compromise puppy welfare may be asked to leave without a refund.

4. Health & Safety

For everyone's safety, you agree to:

  • Arrive on time for the safety briefing.

  • Wear suitable clothing for gentle exercise.

  • Keep personal belongings out of walkways.

  • Follow all emergency instructions given by staff.

  • Respect the venue and other participants.

Mindful Puppy Yoga reserves the right to refuse participation if we believe it would be unsafe for you, other participants, or the puppies.

5. Medical Emergencies

If you require emergency medical assistance during a session, you authorise Mindful Puppy Yoga staff to contact emergency services and provide basic first aid if appropriate while waiting for professional assistance.

6. Allergies

You acknowledge that puppies may carry natural allergens.

If you have allergies to dogs, animal fur, saliva, or other related allergens, you participate entirely at your own discretion.

7. Personal Property

You are responsible for your own personal belongings.

Mindful Puppy Yoga accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal items unless caused by our negligence.

8. Photography & Filming

Photographs and videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes.

By attending, you consent to the use of images that include you unless you notify a member of staff before the session begins.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please let us know on arrival and we will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference.

9. Liability

Mindful Puppy Yoga Ltd takes reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for participants and puppies, including maintaining appropriate public liability insurance.

By attending, you acknowledge that you participate voluntarily and accept the ordinary risks associated with yoga and interacting with animals.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Mindful Puppy Yoga Ltd, its directors, employees, instructors, volunteers, and puppy providers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from your participation, except where such loss or injury results from negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Public Liability Insurance

Mindful Puppy Yoga Ltd maintains Public Liability Insurance appropriate for its business activities.

Our insurance does not remove your responsibility to follow safety instructions, act responsibly, and comply with this waiver and our Terms & Conditions.

11. Agreement

By booking a class and attending a session, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood this Health, Safety & Liability Waiver.

  • You understand the nature of the activities involved.

  • You agree to follow all instructions given by Mindful Puppy Yoga staff and puppy handlers.

  • You agree to comply with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Puppy Welfare Rules.
