1. Age Requirements

Participants must be 10 years of age or older to attend a Mindful Puppy session.

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult aged 18 or over for the entire session. The accompanying adult must also hold a valid ticket and remain with the young person at all times.

When booking for a participant under the age of 18, the person making the booking confirms that the participant meets the minimum age requirement and will attend with a responsible adult.

We reserve the right to refuse entry where these requirements are not met.

2. Health, Allergies & Participation

By attending a Mindful Puppy session, you confirm that:

  • You are not aware of any animal allergy or other condition that would make participation unsafe for you.

  • You do not have symptoms of an infectious illness that could pose a risk to other participants, our team or the puppies.

  • You are physically able to participate in the activities you choose to undertake.

Our yoga sessions are designed to be relaxed and accessible, and you are always welcome to participate at your own pace. You are responsible for listening to your body and stopping any activity that causes pain or discomfort.

If you have a medical condition, injury, are pregnant, or are unsure whether the session is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate professional medical advice before participating.

3. Participation & Personal Responsibility

Mindful Puppy sessions may involve physical activity and interaction with live animals. As with any physical activity or interaction with animals, there are inherent risks, including slips, trips, scratches, minor injuries and other unforeseen incidents.

Participants are expected to follow all reasonable instructions provided by the Mindful Puppy team and yoga instructor.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

4. Puppy Welfare Comes First

The wellbeing of the puppies is our highest priority.

Puppies are living animals, and their behaviour, energy levels and need for rest cannot be guaranteed or controlled. Interaction with puppies is therefore never guaranteed.

Puppies are free to play, explore, interact or rest according to their individual needs.

We never wake a sleeping puppy for the purpose of a session or guest interaction. If the puppies need uninterrupted rest or are sleeping deeply, the yoga portion of the session will continue without them. Once the puppies are naturally awake and our team determines that interaction is appropriate, they may be allowed to rejoin the session.

Participants must:

  • Handle and interact with puppies gently and respectfully.

  • Follow all instructions given by the Mindful Puppy team.

  • Never wake, chase, grab or force interaction with a puppy.

  • Allow puppies to move away or rest whenever they choose.

  • Never feed a puppy unless expressly authorised by our team.

Mindful Puppy reserves the right to immediately remove any participant who behaves in a way that may compromise the safety or wellbeing of a puppy, another participant or a member of staff. Serious or repeated inappropriate behaviour may result in the participant being refused entry to future sessions.

5. Puppies & Litters

We will always aim to provide accurate information about the puppies expected to attend each session. However, because we work with living animals, specific puppies, breeds or litters cannot be guaranteed and may change at short notice where necessary for health, welfare or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

The welfare of the puppies will always take priority over the advertised experience.

Where a change is necessary, the session may still proceed with a different suitable group of puppies, subject to our welfare standards.

6. Session Format

A Mindful Puppy session combines yoga with supervised opportunities for puppy interaction.

The exact structure of each session may vary depending on the needs, energy levels and wellbeing of the puppies.

If the puppies need to rest, the yoga session will continue without puppy interaction until and unless the puppies are naturally awake and it is appropriate for them to participate.

A puppy sleeping through part of a session is not considered a cancellation or failure to provide the session, provided the booked Mindful Puppy experience otherwise takes place.

7. Respectful Behaviour

We want every Mindful Puppy session to feel calm, welcoming and enjoyable.

Participants are asked to:

  • Treat other guests, staff and puppies with respect.

  • Keep noise to a reasonable level during guided yoga and quiet periods.

  • Follow instructions from the Mindful Puppy team.

  • Avoid disruptive, aggressive, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.

We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving in an unsafe, abusive, disruptive or inappropriate manner to leave the session.

8. Arrival & Late Entry

Please arrive at the time stated in your booking confirmation and allow sufficient time to find the venue.

For the safety and comfort of the puppies and other participants, late entry cannot be guaranteed. Once a session has begun, we may be unable to admit late arrivals.

If you are refused entry because you arrived late, any transfer or rescheduling will be subject to our booking policy and availability.

It is your responsibility to attend the correct venue, date and time shown in your booking confirmation.

9. Tickets & Booking Confirmation

Your booking confirmation acts as your ticket. Please keep it available on your phone or other device when arriving at the venue.

Every participant, including children and accompanying adults, must hold their own valid ticket unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking.

Please check your booking confirmation carefully after purchasing and contact us promptly if you believe any information is incorrect.

10. Rescheduling & Ticket Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may request to reschedule your booking in accordance with the rescheduling conditions displayed at the time of purchase.

Our proposed policy is:

Bookings may be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability. Bookings made within 48 hours of a session may not be eligible for rescheduling.

Unless otherwise stated, bookings may only be transferred to another available session or venue in accordance with the options provided by Mindful Puppy.

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another eligible person, provided they meet all participation and age requirements. Please notify us at [YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS] before the session.

11. Cancellations & Refunds

Tickets are generally non-refundable where a participant changes their mind or is unable to attend, subject always to your statutory rights and applicable UK consumer law.

Where applicable, fixed-date leisure activities may be exempt from the usual statutory cooling-off cancellation period for distance contracts. Your cancellation terms should nevertheless be clearly disclosed before purchase, and contractual terms must remain fair.

This section should be reviewed against your actual booking platform and refund process before launch. Avoid wording such as “no refunds under any circumstances,” as blanket cancellation terms can create fairness issues under UK consumer law.

12. Cancellation or Changes by Mindful Puppy

On rare occasions, we may need to cancel, postpone or materially change a session because of circumstances including:

  • Puppy health or welfare concerns.

  • Illness or unexpected unavailability.

  • Venue issues.

  • Severe weather.

  • Safety concerns.

  • Events outside our reasonable control.

Where Mindful Puppy cancels a session, we will contact affected customers as soon as reasonably possible and provide the remedy required under the applicable circumstances and your legal rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a transfer, booking credit or refund.

I would not promise only a credit note in every cancellation scenario, because the appropriate consumer remedy can depend on why the service was cancelled and whether it can still be provided.

13. Photography & Video

We may take photographs and videos during our sessions. If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let a member of the Mindful Puppy team know when you arrive. We will do our best to ensure you are not included in identifiable promotional content. Additional safeguards apply to participants under 18.
